    I'm not a dip on the plate kind of guy tho. My dip goes on the chip (or coliflower, etc) as I walk by the bowl. I do double fart tho, if people are crowding me in a pot luck line, etc.

    There wasn't a "loads so much dip on a chip that double dipping isn't necessary", or a "Just eats the salsa straight from the jar" option.
    If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

    Always double dip on my own plate, but never in a community dip bowl, unless the dip's really good and you want the rest for yourself.....

    Sorta like tossing the Baby Ruth candy bar in the pool when it's too crowded.
