I still cant believe they elected Nagen back into office. He is a smooth talking moron, and they have to live with it.

Murder rates are right on tap with before Katrina levels. I see he's getting his job done as usual.

"New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin said the city is still struggling to get a handle on violent crime and he blamed the modern culture for part of the problem."
Nagin is doing his job just as well as he always has, he is blaming others!
Way too many of our young people turn to violence and have this hopelessness and have this bling-bling mentality which they see on the rap videos.
Maybe Jesse and Al need to apply themselves to getting rid of this?I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.
I will defend, to your death, my right to my opinion.

I say let em have New Orleans. They can all go there to live, and Nagan and that mayor of D.C. who got caught smoking crack and got re-elected can run the city together, while the rest of us pray for another Katrina.
CHECK PLEASE!

Death rate every bit as high as Fallujah.
No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

11 days before Katrina...You think God is trying to say something?
"Updated: 7:20 p.m. ET Aug 18, 2005
NEW ORLEANS - Last year, university researchers conducted an experiment in which police fired 700 blank rounds in a New Orleans neighborhood in a single afternoon. No one called to report the gunfire.
New Orleans residents are reluctant to come forward as witnesses, fearing retaliation. And experts say that is one of several reasons homicides are on the rise in the Big Easy at a time when other cities are seeing their murder rates plummet to levels not seen in decades.
The city’s murder rate is still far lower than a decade ago, when New Orleans was the country’s murder capital. But in recent years, the city’s homicide rate has climbed again to nearly 10 times the national average."
