Why would you want to get a bigger boiler, just to leave a lot of your heating money leak outside every hour.
Also, your cast iron rads, probably don't need more then 160 degree water.
But the newer boiler can handle the load, including the indirect. Yes, your plumber makes less money if you don't buy a new boiler from him.

did the energy audit guy do a blower door test and if so did he point out the major area of leakage . or did he swag it
