    Filter return grille

Should be a fairly simple question. Which way should the return grill pull air from, floor or ceiling. Return is 20x25 wall mounted. I can turn it either way just not sure of the best way.

OK, explain? My thinking. Facing up better filtration. Facing down, cooler air at the floor, better efficiency. Probably not much though. Oh and I change my filter once every 200-300 hours or roughly every 2 months and clean it in between. So seeing it or not means nothing to me.

Returns typically have an "effective zone" of 2 feet depending on certain factors, so I agree with t527ed.

when grill is on the wall there will be one way that makes it harder see into, depends on how high it is off the floor.

just looks better not looking into a filter, works just as good installed either way.
