    York Simplicity...

Hello everyone! does any of you guys work with the york's simplicity card?

I am having troubles with that card, my companny does not install this card, but we have to integrate to our BAS system.

I need to communicate this card using Modbus protocol, but i don't find the modbus data map. In one article of york, say .... The card is ready to connect with any bas system using Modbus or Bacnet, but i dont find the data map.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you very much.

Are you using the Modlink, or Intellicomfort?

    None of them...

I will use a Apogee's Modbus Power MEC to integrate to my BAS and the software will be Siemens Insight.

    Thank you for your help.

I just finished integrating to a York 40 Ton Millenium Rooftop, going straight in to the RS-485 terminals on the Simplicity board. Do you still need info?

    Rolo,

I'm sure you're a nice guy and everything, but where do you get your information from? I don't mean to bust your kahones or anything but sometimes your posts just baffle me?

Click on this link and call Ryan. He might be able to help you. He was a control guy for York.

Which Simplicity card is on your machine? Intellicomfort or Elite?

Never mind. I've attached both data maps.

Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

Here is another PDF you might find useful. Let me know if you have any questions regarding scaling / conversions etc..

You can also download Yorks Simplicity tool for free from Yorks website. It is useful for testing comms and verifying point readings to your own MODBUS readings, however you need a RS485 interface on your laptop or pc.

    Good Luck!

I've only dealt with the Simplicity Elite once, but I think you will also need to obtain a cable from York.
As I recall the board only accepts a particular polarized plug.

All temperature control algorithms are internal to the roof top unit. The MODBUS interface is there for monitoring and very limited control of setpoints, etc.
