    Actually, the site admin, Dad, started that idea. I was suggesting that most new members post an individual thread where they introduce themselves. Some make their first post as a site question, which Dad says you should not post in this section.

    For homeowners and business owners, we have the AOP sections.

    For hvac techs, we have two open tech forums.

    For Pro members, we have closed sections where we discuss matters in greater depth.

    Yes that did help. What I was trying to say was the wording of the first post indicates that we should post here by introducing yourself. But I get what you want now. No need to explain further.

    Apologies for not having posted in the proper manner. I will introduce myself as a retired high school teacher living in Maritime Canada. I have no experience or background in HVAC.
