Before you post here, please read this

This section is here for you to introduce yourself.

Such as, "Hi, I'm Joe Blow, and I'm new to HVAC."

This is not a section for questions that you want answered.

That's what the red letters are for at the top of the forum, DO NOT POST SITE QUESTIONS HERE!!

Maybe it needs to be larger.

That does not show up is your accessing the site from a smart phone. Still should be fairly obvious though...

Or an area to ask about "heat pump control wiring."

    Seriously, guys.

What is it about the title "welcome and introduction" that makes you think that tech questions should be posted in this area?

if the rules aren't comprehended or blatently ignored, what makes you think this issue will cease

My resolve is not diminished by the foolishness of others.

It might be useful to change the words, "site questions" to "technical questions."

My neighbor who is really smart says I have a 4 ton a/c system on my roof. That seems like a lot of weight. Do you recommend I add extra bracing to support all that weight??

    Nice try.

The best laid plans of mice and men is the new turmoil for fools.

Have been searching for a way to get everyone to follow the rules but not everyone can/will/tries/gives a crap about or comprehends what it means to read. It's like driving a school bus when the two steering wheels are loose. Just hold it between the ditches and that will be close enough.

FWIW, this issue of posting questions in New Member Intro seems, to me, to be worse since the site upgrades done a few days ago.
