I got this HVAC company fired today.

    I didn't mean it,they asked for it.

A restaurant I serviced last year was under flood(5 ft in basement)Two WI condensing units got damaged.
Landlord would his own guy do the job, restaurant owner convinced him so I check them too, he would pay from his pocket.
When I got there this HVAC guy was in the WI freezer, telling me refrigerant and water don't mix.Everything is seized in basement.Just write your estimate, don't waste time.It got more complicated as I was bringing my tool cart to the basement when this guy and the super saw me with it.I got pissed off,as I turned my back the customer(with poor english) put up a fight and told them that they are paying me to check it out.The tech says to the super "let him go in there its's gonna take him 30 seconds to check the condensors."And tells me not to bother with my tools..
I am gonna cut it short.I didn't replace any condensing unit. The other company is cursed and fired.I came out hero

    I didn't mean it,they asked for it.

first i removed all electric from the compressors jump started them by hand to see if they are pumping. Both were intact. That didn't take me long.I have universal potantial relays in my truck and all sorts of capacitors and what not.I rewired the condensing units from scratch.one of them needed a fan motor.
Fixing both left me $1400 net.He happyly paid it.
