    Yes, indeed. Even better was the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) back when it was an automatic trans. Damn it fought me all the way out. The new one slid right in. Still had to replace the ignition module.

    Now the cavvy is a manual 5 speed and IF I ever need a new CPS, it will be like cake to change.

    Gots me an underdrive pulley. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next weekend.

    Had to change the cps on my Dad's 89 Buick Somerset with the 4 banger. Stupid thing was cracked and was stuck. Ended up broke off flush with the block. Had to drop the pan and pull out the balance shafts to get to the sensor to push it out. Retiming those shafts were an adventure on to itself.

    yep thats right you got a hitachi tranny otto.

    My wife had a z24 2 dr hardtop auto black on silver when I first met her.

    I had to replace her fuel pump - yep its in the tank

    had a nice ride but the seats are too soft

    They used an Isuzu Trans up to 91
    I have a Getrag/Muncie from a 93
    Internal slave.
    The seats are OK I guess.
    A few people have installed seats from Grand Prix donors

    odd - they chev factory manual listed the 5 speed as a toyota - hitachi i on't have the manual anymore
