    Behind the bank of filters is the dx coil built into the block wall. On the other side of the wall is the blower section. It is water cooled with a BAC that wasn't worth a picture. My shop just installed 2 60 ton Carrier rtu's. This antique only has a couple days left...

    That is a pretty cool setup. I like the giant blower with the dx coil built into a block wall from the other thread as well.

    Great! Thanks for posting. Wish I could turn back the clock and go see some of these really old installs when A/C was first coming out. Bet your Carriers don't last 50-60 years!

    The new carriers haven't even been started and the condenser coils are dented and economizer screens are shot.lol

    looks like a v8 diesel from the 40s.... I would keep it as museum piece.
