I think I'd prefer a VP or VP IAQ as well.

If it doesn't say HoneyWell on it, it's not a tstat. A lot of past White Rodgers (And Lennox, Carrier) stats are just rebranded Honeywells anyhow.

I vote for the Honeywell IAQ. Just installed one in my own home and it controls everything. I like that.

yes total agreement, very versatile stat, i am sure i have installed 100 of these stats an never had 1 complaint,

but if your controlling more than 2heat/1cool or 2cool/1 heat, (or dual fuel) ya better go with the honeywell 8000 or IAQ!

i will not install white rogers stats anymore due to the high quality of the honeywells!

I built circuit boards for Honeywell.....they were round and nicely fit in a tube something that looked like it could go in the end of a.....Go with Honeywell the government thinks they are good enough. All of Honeywell that we built even when not required by the government was expected to meet class three standards meaning they couldn't fail or lose functionality in the most extreme cases....i.e...medical devices...ship control systems...guidance systems...
