I put a wedge of Lemon or Tangerine, with the peel, and freeze it in a Rubber Maid flip top bottle. Makes good flavored water. I've used Ideal sugar substitute on occasion.

I agree; sometimes plain water gets tiring after a while. But I like to stay hydrated so what I do is to flavor my plain water with bourbon. It's much easier to drink a lot of it that way - and I think it's important to drink enough water. Especially in hot weather - but I do it all the time - just to be on the safe side.

Pretty sure, if you look at the concentrations involved, all beverages should be considered 'flavored water'.
