Looking for Advice: Part Time HVAC Work

Hello all, I recently moved to Houston, TX starting a new full time job (non-HVAC) which I enjoy greatly. However, I am interested in picking up some work doing HVAC on nights and weekends. Before moving here I did HVAC for apartment complexes for 3 years. I am an EPA Universal Tech, I have a good truck, and own some refrigeration equipment.

What would you guys recommend for someone looking to pick up some part-time work?

get your state contractors license. then you can pick up work on your own. plus your time would be worth more to any prospective work that might come your way through other contractors.
