    FEC2611 VS NCE2566 FOR AHU

    Gents
    1) Does anyone know the difference between the two controllers mentioned above, for an ahu application?

    2) Also what is the recommended object count for FEC 2611?

It is so great to absorb such good information from everyone, makes work not so crazy!

Both NCE and FEC uses the CCT program to develope and download the program. The FEC is a field device and is designed to be connected via MSTP to a supervisory device like the NAE \ NCE. The NCE is a supervisory device that includes a field device that does not requrie a seperate supervisor devices.

The FEC2611 object count is based on the program and memory. Once the program is completed for the AHU look at the memory in the CCT program.

Does it matter if an AHU controller states under focus that it is an NCE2566, but it is actually FEC2611?

NCE has more IO points than a FEC 2611, more over it was recommended for Central plant application by JCI...

there is no object count limit for the FEC but depends upon the system capacity of application....NCE has a recommended object count of 2500 which includes the local objects as well as mapper objects...

but still there are cases that the NCE still runs healthy with more than the 'recommended' objects.
