    bluestone icemaker?

ever hear of one. Best i can see they were sold by home depot. Anyway the call came in no ice. Right off the bat i see there is no water curtain on the thing. I power cycled it and it actually made a sheet of ice and dumped but then goes into full bin mode. Im guessing there should be a water curtain of some kind over the evap. Anyone know who would have parts? In the schematic i found online it doesnt show a water curtain but mentions a bin level sensor arm. I see the magnet on the evap side but no arm in sight and no curtain in sight.
I know everything about HVAC/R until i go to the next call.

The ones I have seen have a damper style bin control on the lower right side of the evaporator. I did not have a full curtain.

thats correct its not a full curtain. I found the part from the manufacturer. it sure wastes some water without a full curtain.

There are a few models of cubers without full curtains. They waste a little water, I guess. They do seem to lose very little once the first film of ice forms each cycle.
