Confused. Leaks you couldn't find with the UEi but found with the Blue Banana?
For me I try with a new detector. Can't find the leak easily. Use the ZX-1
Locate the leak then come back with the one that gave me hell to see if it was me or the detector.

Makes sense, the UEI is on the pick up and the ZX1 is on the van, I use the van whenever it I can, so I am more used to the tif.

I paid for that leak detector report and it is incomplete from all the detectors listed to have.
Not real happy about that or agree with the findings but I guess thats the difference between lab conditions and field conditions.
    Gonna stick with my favorite

One mans opinion is just one mans opinion. I prefer threads like this where you can get a lot of different people giving their first hand experiences. Although no matter how many on here say they like the H10 models, I personally have been unimpressed by them over the years. Bulky, awkward to use, and average in their capabilities at best.

And with all of the ones listed on eBay seem to second your opinion.

The first SRL2 I had was one of the originals without a "turbo" setting. When my H10 was doing a better job at 410 I decided to get a new one (w/ turbo). The H10 still did better. And I need to reiterate, I know the proper technique.

I've been using the Fieldpiece SLR2 for the past few months. So far its been pretty good but I feel I need to use it a while more before I would recommend it. I have found 410 and 22 leaks with it. The turbo mode, which the manual cautions is sensitive and to handle with extra care, is very sensitive and erratic, and I've found it unreliable. But aside from that it looks promising.
