Hey man don't be afraid to come on this site and ask questions for fear of being ridiculed. This is the best hvac forum I have ever come across. There are a bunch of great minds here. Ask away!! A great tip for you, if you want to at least comprehend the concept of this trade as a newbie...... Reading and of course hands on. When you are lost on something then you should be scouring the internet and your training books like a mad man looking for your answer because its there. Every unit you come upon, you should as a habit, write down its model and serial number and if time permits, at least look up the literature for the unit and read, read, read. KNOWLEDGE IS KING!

The orifice in the distributor nozzle is too small to pass any measure able volume of discharge vapor without excessive pressure buildup at the TEV outlet.

The auxiliary side connector (the special Sporlan tee) allows the distributor nozzle to be positioned upstream of the tee connection where the gas is introduced...eliminating the gas flow through the nozzle.
