    The flex monster!!

In my short career I've seen some hack jobs but as far as flex runs this takes the cake!

We've fixed a couple of noise problems at our office (exhaust fan in break room, couple of very short return-air paths) with flex duct (stuff is very good for not passing noise), but never seen an entire system done with it!!

We changed out the air handlers and condensers. kinda depressing in a way. You spend time making your end of the job look good and you turn around and see this crap

Looks like a bunch of snakes during mating season! SNAKES in the ATTIC! "I am getting tired of these M@(*%!----", well you get the idea. On pic 2 did they only have one size of duct so made a double decker wrapped seperately?

I saw one Saturday I should have taken pics of. A 2.5 ton unit with a 12in compressed flex return and a 2ft long box on the supply with 8 4in flex ducts coming out. All loosely run and highly compressed, a true "ductopus". Evaporator had at least 6 distinctive leaks in it and the customer just wanted it topped off, what a joke.

    Whaaaa!

    now come on :
If the attic is within 10 degrees of all running conditions
    and
the air velocities are under 300 FPM in the ducts

    IZ GREATZ !!!

I just gotta be objective. Follow your heart , Right?!
... however, much work still needs to be done.

CLOSED LOOP 2015 listed EER's over 34 EER "blended from low to high variable speeds" for 32deg.F ~ E-Star

    Perhaps you need a 32F Chiller/HW-Heat: buy a GTHP

My God, man. Where are you from? You have to tell. France? Jamaica? Istanbul?
Sent from my cell phone so excuse all the spill convection mistakes.
