The SC and SH temp measurements wander even when calibrated.
I am still undecided on what I am goig to do with it. Its only four months old.

I have a spare AK900 that I won on eBay with spring clamps that I might be willing to trade if you can get it repaired through warranty.

FWIW My testo 523 had made in China printed on the circuit board inside but outside was printed made in Germany

electronics are made in China but assembled in Germany with the housing being made in Germany.
