    Carrier 19XR

    I have a carrier 19XV
It is tripping on high condenser water pressure even though the differential is well with in the setpoint. I even tried adjusting the setpoint to the exact pressure the ccn controller is reading. After that it chooses either low or high condenser water pressure. I tested the transducers, and they are good, but I replaced them with new ones anyway. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

What type of Controller do you have. My guess would be that you have a PIC II Controller.
    What is the Model Number?
What type of refrigerant does the machine use?
Like Flange said, are you actually referring to refrigerant pressure, but then again you did state differential Pressure.
So what is the actual pressure? did you remove the transducer's off the system to calibrate and hopefully zero out.
Have you measured the voltage input to the transducer and actual milliamp readings.
But I am still learning and looking for a new mentor.

IVCV controller, high condenser water pressure, not high head, or condenser pressure. Old transducer did check out, and I calibrated them, I also replaced out, old and new ones. Calls for 5vdc. I have 4.99 vdc. This controller looks at the water pressure differential across the condenser. Today I was looking at it again. It actually started one time and tripped on high condenser refrigerant pressure, even though the pressure was not high. I am no longer tripping on high water pressure now. I probably have a problem in the transducer circuit. Refrigerant transducer check out as well. I do not have the software to interface with this controller like I can Trane. I guess I will get it. Thanks guys.

    Alarm and Alert Messages:
    ICVC Fault State: #120
    Primary Message: RUN CAPACITY LIMITED
    Secondary Message: HIGH CONDENSER PRESSURE
Primary Cause: Condenser pressure (x) exceeded limit of (y)
    Addational Cause/remedy:
    a) Check Condenser water pump operation
    b) Check for high condenser water temperature or low flow rate. Verify that isolation valves are open.
    c) Check Cond Press override setting in SETUP1

Thank You pecmsg, that's what I needed. Turned out being the high pressure relay in main control box. Thanks for all the help
