    condenser fan motor

hello guy, i have a service call today.
i found out the condenser fan is turning the other way around.
I checked the fan capacitor which it is also bad. After i replace a new capacitor , the fan motor still turning the other way around.
I have no choice but replace the fan motor.

Have anyone seem the same situation? Can the motor still turn without capacitor?

Are you sure one of those wires was the start winding?

Is it connected to a dual run cap or separate fan cap? Are those the only two wires on the cap?

Sounds right, usually on 4 wire set ups the cap wires are brown or one is brown with a white stripe.

    Did you ohm the windings?

If you still have it try ohming the windings I bet there is something weird with the windings.
