    Hospitals, Doctors, Obamacare

Today when I was over at the Hospital..which bought out the Heart Center where my heart doctor is located ....

While I was over there getting shot full of radioactive stuff and getting robbed of 2300.00.....

    I got to thinkin...

While at the hospital in the waiting room I saw quite a few people that I know who work there and they were all telling me how they are scared layoffs are coming because they are not even coming close to filling beds there.

Another local hospital chain..... thats what we have now.... hospital chains..... is also laying off due to people just not coming in.

Anyhow..... I wonder what is going to happen when many of the dregs of society are given free healthcare.

Looking at my own family I see people who wont work, wont do a damn thing for themselves but lie cheat and steal so that they can keep up their prescription drug habits.

I also see these very same hospitals and doctors offices etc.... having a lot more business when this occurs what with all the riff raff and throngs of people that most of us would deem unfit to live....... going to the doctors office and hospitals getting treated and getting prescriptions for ailments that they dont even have.

I see prices skyrocketing for those of unfortunate enough to have a will to work and provide for ourselves and our families and I also see us having to fight for space with these unclean, unkempt sores of society who are going to be flooding health care facilities in an attempt to get treatment and more importantly prescriptions to treat their "ailments".

Its gonna get bad..... I think the time will come...maybe even in our own lifetimes when.... citizens.....hardworking citizens.... may need to band together and do something to control these god forsaken creatures who contribute nothing to this world but pain and misery...... people who do nothing but take.....that just suck the life out of those around them.....

    It really has me worried....

I dont mind helping old folks...kids...or the truly sick....... but Id rather see some bum who just wont work put to death than to see them add a burden onto the rest of society while they continue to just take take take and not contribute one iota of good to society.
May Allah Guide Us Towards The Right Path and move us towards a better understanding of Allah and Allahs Creation.

Corny.... usually I have you on ignore because your comments are more for sport than of any content... however I read your post in a different thread about the raw deal you got recently in the medical world.

I have a question for folks at ARP in general (based on what Corny said above):
Where is the line where we re-think (or to put it a different way; how much do we have to unfairly suffer before we decide to re-think) the safety nets govt provides and the idea of charity being handled by the govt on a national level... as opposed to local levels where accountability can be exercised???

No comments from GA... just putting out the question?

I know! Let's cook 'em and eat 'em, like in Soylent Green.
We can turn them over to Monsanto and Archer-Daniels-Midland for processing...
    Yeah, that's the ticket.

No, but seriously, folks, there are alternatives to Obamacare, and they make a lot more sense. HR2300 (Empowering Patients First), proposed by Congressman Tom Price, a physician, is one of them:

I advocate totally free housing, cot in a warehouse maintained between 55 and 85 degrees. Showers and such not unlike in a public park reserve,

Free food too, soup served 3 times a day. 6/12/8 o'clock,

Free healthcare also, Emergency room service only if needed.

Service calls submitted after 3PM will be posted the next business day.

there's a lot of people who can't contribute to the system.
there's a lot of people who are physically fit but can't hold down a job due to a mild mental condition, or just from the fact no employer would want them around.

these people need to be able to survive in some way
the problem with our society is, the Socialists recognize this, and they set up a "one for you, two for me" system, where everyone , especially the Socialists, are leeching off of the public.

we are far better off letting the churches run their charities, like we used to have.

ObamaCare made everything worse, we moved in the wrong direction.
    medical insurance became a problem.
ObamaCare got rid of competition that would have forced insurance companies and providers to lower their prices.

you can't just tax the public to fund failing systems.

the American public still isn't aware of how bad this health care bill will be.
in the future, people are going to want to pop themselves in the head rather than go through the system.
the whole thing is evil, breeding evil

I am not going to disagree with you on prison lingo. However, pants at half-mast is public speak saying, " I am mentally retarded, unemployable, and a felon whether in fact or future truth".

    WORD!!!

    LOL

Sort of like a I LOVE THE DEVIL tattoo on your forehead, it doesn't really prove anything but the implications and associations are pretty obvious for rest of us with active brain cells.

The health industry will keep raising prices until not even the highly profitable corporations can afford to pay the premiums. Only then will they agree to fix the problem. Very similar to our business. We go where the money is and don't feel too sorry for the people that can't afford us.

Speak for yourself on the people who can't afford us. They have families and usually employes and some of them are struggling just to keep the doors open. Granted some are in that situation from bad business
practices, (and health insurance, or lack of it), but I have no trouble adjusting my prices when possible. I feel very fortunate to be able to still help others less fortunate. I manage to pay my bills on time and although I don't have a "nest egg", and I should at my age that is ok. I trust in the lord and he hasn't let me down yet and he never will.
