    Fu- Sheng Screw

    108 HP Fu-sheng Screw. Can they be rebuilt in the Field? Is there a after market remanufacturer?

    Is this part of a mammoth unit? Slide valve stuck?

    Yow! Yes mammoth. It's been in service for a bit and running noisy. Oil PPM is high. Able to get PPm down after oil change ect.. Don't want to chance for another season this is stage #1 of a 5 Comp rack.

    I haven't found an after market remanufacturer for these yet. There is a distributer for new compressor out of St. Louis. Curtis-Toledo, Inc.
    Is it moisture or metal counts that are high? Are you using the correct POE oil?

    Metal, I know in our area they toledo is a Air Compressor manufacturere.

    I know the motor is field-replaceable. I can ask the guy who did it, he mentioned making sure you shopvac out all of the old bearings? before pressing in the new...

    when is it going to be recommisioned and what where the oil filter condtions like?. did you find any tracers of aluminum and copper?.
