These prices hurt to even look at most seem to be close to $1000...last year I could afford that.. this year not so much
You need a straight simple high efficiency dehumidifier with enough capacity to handle the space with a dehumidistat that operates automatically. These a/c remove about 2 pints per KWH and are crude when it comes to dehumidification. High efficiency dehus like the Santa Fe Advance !! remove 5-6 pints per KWH and fully automatic with full defrost. This +50%saving in dehumidification cost which will save $30 per month in operating cost. Durability is the next issue.
Long term, you will be happier with equipment designed for the job.

Provide 60-100 cfm of fresh air when occupied to purge indoor pollutants and keep window dry during cold weather. T-stat setup/setback +8 hrs. saves energy
Use +Merv 10 air filter. -Don't forget the "Golden Rule"
