You need a straight simple high efficiency dehumidifier with enough capacity to handle the space with a dehumidistat that operates automatically. These a/c remove about 2 pints per KWH and are crude when it comes to dehumidification. High efficiency dehus like the Santa Fe Advance !! remove 5-6 pints per KWH and fully automatic with full defrost. This +50%saving in dehumidification cost which will save $30 per month in operating cost. Durability is the next issue.
