    Looks like the remains of some spin in take offs.

    The were stuffed in the boot all in the same fashion. The homeowner wanted to know if they served a purpose. I asked our sheet metal guy what they were, he had no idea either. We told her to remove them.

    Might it be one of those "twister" fuel saver gadgets (which only work if the carburetor was badly designed in the first place, and then only if you're lucky) that someone decided to install on their A/C thinking it would save energy?

    Ive never heard of that before but i was thinking something along those lines. Thanks for the reply.
