    Question Preston's Guide

    Hey people,
I have left the industry and have a used Preston's Guide (1960-2005 edition) for sale. (Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps/ Gas & Oil Furnaces). I read the forum rules and didn't see anything saying I couldn't post this, but if I offended you all, I'm really sorry. $40 plus shipping. It's intact but the cover has wear.
    Thanks!
    Julie

Hmm, Where do you live in Canada? Depending if you're near Niagara Falls, it might just be easier to meet near the border. Otherwise I think I'd be more comfortable shipping to GA since it's not international. Happy Canada Day

I just spoke with my husband and he said shipping to Canada is double the cost of shipping. Would you be ok with that?

and how much would that be? postal code is N1H 7A4. niagara falls is 1.5 hr away. I could meet up at the border, depending on the shipping cost.

I'll take it to the post office today and find out. My guess is that it would be cheaper than the gas it's going to take, unless you have a hybrid or something.

I am so sorry! I got busy working on a backsplash in my kitchen and didn't get to the post office before they closed. I will go tomorrow (Monday) and find out.

Oh boy. Well, that was a disappointing trip to the post office. It costs $38 to ship it to Canada due to the weight. At that price, you'd probably be better off buying a new one from Preston, unless you would run into the same problem with shipping from them. I also checked on the rate to ship it to GA. Since it is within the US, I can get a media rate and it's less than $5 shipping. So let me know what you want to do.
