1/60 HP motor- are there alternative replacement motors?

My 1980 built and installed Condo HVAC's motor crapped out. I'm trying to source the replacement part.

Current model motor is a TRANE branded DE3D255N

I recently saw a TRANE branded DA3/6E031N for sale on Ebay. Similar specs (1/60 HP).

Are these compatible? Is there any place to find old model #'s and modern era replacement motors?

    Thanks!

Sorry, this isn't a DIY site.

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?

Sure, i get that it's not a DIY site. I'd actually like to hire someone to replace the motor. But I'd like to order the part before having it installed. I had a similar problem with another HVAC in my house. Labor was $, which was fine. But the part was $, which seems steep given the price of replacement motors.

Would that still be considered DIY?

Sorry, prices aren't allowed here either.

Helping you find one. then leaves a way for DIYers to find it also.
