    circulator pump tester?

Hey guys today we started up a big job for our small company. We fired up 4 triangle tube 399 boilers and had one of the local reps come out and check the job before starting them. It was pretty neat to see this guy work but to top it off he had this little keychain tool to check the grundfoss pumps. Has anyone seen these? And if so do you know any place I can get one?

I got mine at the supply house. It works great on grundfos pumps. I never had any luck using it on taco pumps though.

People that have them usually get them from the instructor on their training course. Just go into the supplier and ask them if they have a grundfoss pump rotation tester. If they laugh at you then thats their loss of business.

I have one, got it from the grundfoss rep. As said before, can't get it to work on Taco, just the grundfoss.

I got mine at the cmx show from the grundfos stand years back. On the back it says "Indicater for AC magnetic Fields Patented www.geonordic.se"

They're cool, but all they tell you is that the motor is turning. If the impeller is broken they will still spin.

It took me almost a year for me to find these things but I found these here in the states. They are made over in Sweden. I will get the website for you on Monday when I get to work.
