    Anyone know what this is?

I am trying to find out what this unit is,
    Model # NAXCA02AH01
    Serial # Y60751368
There is no nomenclature on the unit and compressor tag has been removed.

    Whirlpool,Hiel ,Sears,etc.

Model number looks wrong, can't tell the size.

    Thinking Temstar,Comfortmaker,has a replacement that is same/similar.

I remember working on a couple of those about ten years ago. Usually mounted to a mobil home. Oddball brand, will try to remember.

An old Heil-Quaker product. Model number doesn't make much sense to me either. I guess you'd contact ICP for info.

The supply and return are backwards on those compared to most other units, that will be a problem when replacing it if you use another brand

The model number you are giving is for an optional electric heater accessory for this unit. It is a 9.6KW 240 volt heater element. This is commonly listed on package units used for mobile homes to be used as backup if you are running the unit as a heat pump or if you desire electric heat.

Look closer. You should find another model number somewhere. NPH , NPA, NRG, NRL Those are the most common prefixes for this one.

What he said. Still see a lot of these around. Used mostly with low budget customers. Supply & return duct connections are backwards from most other brands. Low air flow problems common.
Remember, Air Conditioning begins with AIR.
