    It is mostly 3 inch...

    I'm sure there was a footnote that called fot 3 inch...except for the end...

    No guys there are high eff boilers out there that call for 3 " all the way , no restriction.

    Is it 2 feet at termination? This house was just built. They could not have been living there more than 2 months.

    Ruud terminate in 2", t tube will need 4" after so many feet, the bigger ones need 4" anyways

    Wow thats ashame. However there are some Lennox units that call for 3" and then drop down to 2" at the very end for an excellerator. Looks like these guys just needed to fit between the brick and the 3/4' gas line lol

    So the gas meter is floating on the hi pressure gas line and the house supply pipe ?

    That's how all the resi meters are here.
