    High efficiency furnace combustion/vent ducting...

Is there a maximum/minimum length for running the pvc pipes? Also, what is the size requirement for the pvc pipes? The furnace will be the Infinity 98.

    Thanks...Al

All of this info is in the install manual. It varies from furnace to furnace and manufacture to manufacture, and most importantly input btu capacity.

Most 80k furnaces allow 40-60ft with 2" PVC and 3" above that, each elbow accounts for 2.5-5ft depending on what type elbow is used.

Thanks for the info. This info allows for various alternatives to run the pipes.

Maybe Rundawg has an install manual he could email you for that furnace that will give you the exact distances/sizes allowed and amount of elbows for that particular furnace. You may be able to find the install manual online somewhere.

That would be nice of Rundawg because I tried to find them online and have not been successful - only found owners manual.
