I have Bryant fb4anf030, it is an a/c only. I keep blowing the small 5 amp fuse on the circuit board. I disconnected the blower from the circuit and it still blows the fuse. I then disconnected the transformer and it didn't blow. Do you think the problem could be the board or the transformer. I have 245 volts incoming and 28 volts out of the transformer. It is a 208/230 transformer.

Thank you for the response, I'm not a do-it -yourselfer though. I'm a stationary engineer by trade along with a/c and refrigeration. This is a job I was working on and couldn't figure out. Thanks again, I thought about doing that but I didn't think it would that easy.

I figured it would be useless to write that I disconnected the transformer, but I have read some if the questions that you guys ask others and thought I would just get that out of the way. It's too bad that not everyone was born with same knowledge you guys were. I kind of thought it would be waste of time asking anything in here because I knew there would dumbass comments like yours.

yes well what you have done to attempt to diagnose the problem shows your lack of knowledge of hvac equipment, which leads me to believe that you are a DIY, nothing personal but this is out of your realm of knowledge and you should call a professional. not trying to be rude here but chances are good you might make it worse and we dont give out information to DIY, sorry. if this is for a job I would suggest telling them to get someone out there that can work on hvac
