Post the chiller model # and the board number and I'll look up the quick start setup for the config. you want. The board number will start with an 031-xxxxxx.
The quick start should do what you want without the need for any VT100 access.

    Some ? for you.

The gateway I have doesn't have the clip attached and the chiller is connected to port 1 TB3. It seems to be talking to chiller by looking at TX RX lites for port 1.From what I have read this would mean the Port 2 is for an ISN network connection,is that correct? If so that would mean I would need another gateway to convert ISN to ASCII.One more ? for you, please. The manual that was left on the job is Form 450-20-NOM1 (702).Page 25 shows the Optiview Chiller on Port 2 TB2 and ISN on Port 1 TB1, at the bottom of page its says to connect ASCII to Port 2 TB4. How can the chiller and ASCII be on the same port?

I know you don't want me to go by memory, so I'll try to look into this further today.
One gateway will do it, I just can't remember the port setup.
Just to verify, you do have an actual Optiview panel don't you?

It looks like you will need an additional gateway after all.
    (I was wrong, imagine that)
Check you mail again and see if that doesn't help clarify the issue.

Yes it does have the Optiview panel and a very nice display I might add. One of the best I have seen in my 12 years of havoc tech + 13 years of controls. Can't get to my work email from here but will look when I get to the office. Thanks very much for your time and knowledge.Worked as Trane tech for 10 years 91-04 and now with ALC for past 3 years. If there is anything I could help you with just ask!

As far as I know the Microgateway Configurator is some double top secret software, but I'll see what I can find if no one else has any input for you here.
