I believe they have study preparation guide . I think I still might have a copy on paper and cd. I do not know how much space does it take cause if I remember corectly it has over 100 pages. Let me know I'll try to download it on my PC and e-mail it.

All Service Technicians are eligible (applicants must have at least five years experience)
The examination consists of 199 questions in the following categories:
Mechanical 18 Ventilation 9
Heating 19 Electrical 30
Piping 12 Controls 37
Customer Services 3 Lifting Equipment 4
Mathematics 15 Steam Systems 5
AC & Refrigeration 39 Safety 8
Remember that union competes against non union for market share of work out there a larger union is a stronger union which can provide even better benefits.
Do not share any books or manuals that were developed by the UA for the UA without permission from the UA first.

Joe K is right. Even though we've gotten in the habit of helping each other out, we need to remember that union and non-union contractors are in direct competition with each other.
Don't share UA study materials with non-UA members.

do you know what your Local charges you to Administer the Benefit Pkg you get ...??
most guy's seem to think the Local exist's on Dues ..
Most have no idea where the Real money comes from...
for example, the Local here ..
charges 40% to administer that Pkg ...
YOWSER ..!!!

Yes I do. We all get a quarterly newsletter and the right to go down in person to review the financial records.

Why all the hard feelings? UA study materials were developed at the cost of the UA for the benefit of UA members. Joe was simply stating that fact. Why does that upset you?
