I believe they have study preparation guide . I think I still might have a copy on paper and cd. I do not know how much space does it take cause if I remember corectly it has over 100 pages. Let me know I'll try to download it on my PC and e-mail it.

    Cool

Developed jointly by the United Association and Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Michigan.

All Service Technicians are eligible (applicants must have at least five years experience)

The examination consists of 199 questions in the following categories:

    Mechanical 18 Ventilation 9

    Heating 19 Electrical 30

    Piping 12 Controls 37

Customer Services 3 Lifting Equipment 4

    Mathematics 15 Steam Systems 5

    AC & Refrigeration 39 Safety 8

Remember that union competes against non union for market share of work out there a larger union is a stronger union which can provide even better benefits.

Do not share any books or manuals that were developed by the UA for the UA without permission from the UA first.

Joe K is right. Even though we've gotten in the habit of helping each other out, we need to remember that union and non-union contractors are in direct competition with each other.

Don't share UA study materials with non-UA members.

Yes I do. We all get a quarterly newsletter and the right to go down in person to review the financial records.

    slimwoodie-

Why all the hard feelings? UA study materials were developed at the cost of the UA for the benefit of UA members. Joe was simply stating that fact. Why does that upset you?
