This drier was in a very easy spot. It was about a foot off the ground and vertical. Nothing on either side of it or behind it. It was just cutting it out and putting in the new one. Whatever, if that's the way this guy runs his business then good for him. He can take my money and have fun with it. This is the first thing I've ever paid for someone else to do in my life and this is exactly why. It's unfortunate that this is just one of those things you can't diy. I don't like people touching my stuff.
Now that I'm thinking about it. I wonder if there were contaminants left in the system. After they cut out the inside drier he said that there was still stuff in the line that they had to blow out. Owner showed up with a flush kit and nitrogen tank. He said they just wanted to make sure it was clean. But the system was run for about thirty to forty five seconds yesterday. Does that mean all that crap was pushed through the system?
No, they're on the manufacturer's website as official/recommended installers.
Wow I think its time the manufactures start to check out the companies a little better. I hope you finally get some service out of the equipment. I bet it works better than it has in a while with the restriction removed.
