One install crew, one trim out crew, one start up technician and a super tech could not find the leak.
So they gave up on the cheapest guys in the business and call the local supply house and asked for a contractor that new what they were doing. (Some how they found my number)
I have good luck finding leaks though. This one was easy.

That is usually one of the first places I check in my leak search routine.

I never stop there though, I end up going through and checking to the evap.

we have a construction department comprised of two different types of crews. One is a rough in crew that dies duct work, linesets and sets the air handler. The second is a trim out crew that sets the outside unit, inside trims and wires the zones up. Then the service department sends a tech out to double check the install and start the unit.
Some companies try to go to fast on installs and mess stuff up. the owners hire these "cheap" companies on the face value they offer...cheap. After weeks or months of running around with the cheap company and getting no response "because of the natural rule, you get what you pay for" the home owner breaks down and calls a reputable company. AKA, us. we fix the problems left by the cheap contractors and charge the customer for the repairs, where they always say, "we're going to make these other guys pay us back."

I guess these customer's all think we all look alike so therefore we know each other.

That's no different than my not liking a pizza from one place, so ordering one from a second place. THEN telling the second place to simply send the bill to the first place.
