    Aprilaire 600 Problem

I have a new aprilaire 600 installed humidifier. on a Trane Heat pump humidifier. I think I have a bad humdifier control "Stat".

The humdifier will not flow water in test mode, auto or manual mode.
24v power is getting to the control "stat" "R\C" but no power is coming out "The two H leads".

This this mean the stat is bad or could be something else. I am checking for power at the stat leads. Also should the stat "R\C" leads have power only when the fan blower is running?

I agree with Roscoe, they wired it incorrectly. Ask them to send their senior tech. over so it is done properly.

But....should it have power going out of the stat.....what could be mis-wired since it has power to it and done coming from it in all modes...

Yes I have already verified that the water is on and flowing if I remove the tube on..... The wiring looks very sample and would just like to know if I have power coming in should it have power coming out of the stat to the humidifier. It could be a very few things wrong.....

    Hmm

You need to test it with the furnace running. They don't normally run without the furnance running.
