    Journeyman license in florida hvac/r

My question of the day is that: is it possible to get my Journeyman license at the age of 23. I hope I'm not rushing.

If you have verifiable experience yes you can. I got my contractors license for HVAC Class B when i was 21. So yes if you have the experience and the know how you can.

In my area the Journeyman means as little as NATE. Which I personally think is a shame. Customers deserve better and in FL you can be a Target cashier one day and running a truck the next.

Yep. The most you would get the Journeyman up here in Jax is if you want to work for the county or the Navy, which is requiring it to be an HVAC mechanic for the civilian contractor that has the contract for the bases.
