Any love for smaller HVAC systems?

Why are there so few AC systems under 3tons or Furnaces under 60,000BTU in the Wall of Pride section?

Just wondering if it would be better to move OSU further apart. Seems like they would be fighting for air.
I know it isn't always possible, but still.

Worst one I saw was a unit install in an overhead crawl space in Cape Elizabeth Maine. The complained that when it was real hot it wouldn't cool. DUh ?

yup. When you can see the compressor through the coil. The unit is gone

Yes units are close and could have put them 2 inches further apart.

Alot better than what it use to be from what i have heard

My dad said when he first started doing work for this guy the units where under the house where it is about 5 ft or so and the hot air was just recirculating and not getting rinsed off at all from the rains so they did not last at all.

We could have moved it over just a little bit but would have had to run 25 ft+ whip the old whip was just a tad short. From the old disconnect where the unit used to sit.

Got you beat on that one too. We have a house where we work on and the condenser is in the attic.

Tried to talk the owners to moving it out numerous times but no go

And i meant to say the 2 ton was on the left and 2.5 on the right

The unit I was talking about was the condensing unit. These folks didn't even try to vent it.

"Well ma'am, if you won't let me move the condensers, then you should at least let me install some cooling to cool your cooling."
