anyone hiring service tech and what is starting pay for doing hvac/r and cooking equipment for about 5 years ?
Here in Central Oregon it seems service techs are in short supply. I'm a service tech and we need a couple more. I work for Mountain View Heating and I highly recommend the company and this area, if you're willing to move. There's no place I'd rather live. --Andy
we could use you here in Austin. I cant speak for pay or bennies though. But there is lots of work and all the slurpee's you wanna drink

Hey Joken, I mean Ken OOPS, I moved from Corvallis to Bend just last September. I wanted to make the move, and also there are more job opportunities out here right now. Do you work for Mike's Heating or Pace or Hendrix or the hospital or . . . . ?
Yeti, I'm the HVAC Lead/boiler room guy. I worked for Mike once for a year. Worked for Hendrix 17yrs before Jim and Steve bought it. I know'em all. I need a good all around guy. I can't promise you a job, but maybe can help. Look for the posting on the Good Samaritan Regional medical center web site. The jobs should be posted by now. If they are not keep lookin.Job will probably be swing or grave for a while. Currently we get about $212 dollars a month pension at age 65 for every year we work..... 5 year vesting. Talk to me. Tell me what you know. Ken
I hired a new man on Monday,
3 hours late first day.
2nd day calls 4 hours late to say he is sick.
Start pay was 16.50 hr for first 0-10 days,
21.50 for 10-90 days
over 90 days we sit and talk.
Bennies inc
He was good too.
But GONE
cyro, I'm surprised you were going to let him come back the 2nd day. That was probably his best behavior. Too bad for him.
You know he was recommended from a great guy. and he really was a nice guy too, he worked hard and was very easy to get along with. He made sure all the work was done by the end of the day because of his lateness. Never complained once. clean cut, well spoken.
keep apologizing for being late, You really could not ask for a better person, I was taken hook line and sinker.
cyro where you located im in nw arkansas?
Call Bromley Parts & Service in Little Rock. They may need a guy in NW Arkansas.
Ask for Beth or Diane http://www.bromleyparts.com/
