2009 amana 2 stage. It was interesting how unit ran before and after.
Was cooling fine customer would never have thought twice had I not showed him the coil!
One interesting thing to note was the indoor txv was letting the unit equalize between cycles like the hard shutoff wasn't working. Once coil was clean it held itback.

Here are the readings before 88-90oda
Cond sat 107 in 1st with 14 SC and 110 in 2 with 17 SC.
Ll temp didn't change much.
After cond sat 99 in 1st and 8 SC.
102 in 2nd and 9 SC.
Superheat stayed constant but EVAP sat temp lowered 1.5degree.

Do you hit it with a brush attachment on a shop vac first before wetting it? It was cool it came right off like a natural air filter.

That is what I try to do on most of the condensers if they are real bad. Except Trane spine fin. I vac them and wash really good.

i would think this stuff is flammable, we used to burn drier lint before trying to wet it. Carbon washes off so much easier.
