    its definitely repairable like previously said, its just an oring. get the service bulletin, dont remember off hand which one, and be careful when splitting housing or you will be replacing compressor.

    Thank you. I was able to get out of the rain today, obtained the literature I need. Pretty straight forward.

    This was completed, and another since. Takes about 5 hours, one man, minimal material and about as complicated as replacing a condenser fan motor.
