    I've used both and both are great. I havethe super evac 6 right now, got a great deal on it

    Watch that evac video on tru techs site, that little 5cfm pump seemed to be perfecrt for residential, even commercial.

    All 4 commercial hvac companies I have worked for only had JB vacuum pumps. For what it's worth.
    Challenge yourself, take the CM test --- Certificate Member since 2004 ---Join RSES ---the HVAC/R training authority ---www.rses.org

    My new 7 CFM JB Platinum and my 15 year old 6 CFM Robbie work equally well.

    I think either YJ or JB would be a good choice.

    just got 2 brand new super evacs in a row and the built in gauge wont pull into the green correctly

    Platinum is one hell of a pump! Mine has (2) 3/8" fittings. No more trees or t's!
    Gotta have the right tool for the job!
