SEER vs HSPF
I live in the Pacific Northwest and need replace my heat pump/indoor air handler. I hear lots about SEER but little about HSPF. In my area, where we use the system mostly for heating and only a few weeks a year for cooling, would HSPF heating efficiency ratings be more important?
We are considering Lennox XP19/ 9.4 HSPF or XP15/ 8.3 HSPF I think. Is this difference in SEER and HSPF especially, important or significant when I only spend 1300 per year on hydro for HVAC, lighting, appliances etc?

HSPF for heating is obviously more significant in Victoria than SEER.
