    Fan Speed

I have a duel Fuel system, Heat pump and oil back up - Is the fan supposed to blow harder when the oil heat is on as opposed to the heat pump? It seems that the fan is on low to med with the heat pump, and when the furnace kicks on the fan speed increases. Is that normall?

If a direct drive blower setup, the installer can pick speeds. I'd expect it to blower harder with the heat pump but anything is possible.

I would expect high speed on heat pump and medium on oil heat. Have service tech or installer change. Quick and easy
