Picking up 2 new toys Monday afternoon!

Getting a Fieldpiece GH3 so I can make full use of my SDP2, and expand into other pieces of the wireless system.

The best one though, I'll be taking delivery of a brand new 2013 F-150 Supercab.
My first ever brand new personal vehicle!

Must be doing well over there. Good for you man.

That new modular 302coyote motor sounds mean. Gotta open up the exhaust and let her free.

Maybe in 5 years when the warranty period is over, and I'm done paying for it.

If I turn the traction control off, I'm pretty sure the stock 360 hp is more than enough to burn the rubber clean off of the rear tires.

I actually like the way it sounds with the stock exhaust system. Very subdued at normal throttle positions, but very authoritatively announces that there is a real V8 under the hood when you get on the gas.

It's a very nice looking engine, but like I told the salesman when I was looking under the hood, I know enough about automotive engines to know that I've got no business under the hood of this truck with tools in my hands.

The 302 is a great engine. I have a 2011 super crew fx4. I get an avg 18mpg which is pretty good because I am a lead foot.

I'm not a lead foot, so maybe I'll do better.

My main concern in the MPG department is when I go on a longish trip.
From what I've been told by a couple of people that have similar trucks, it will actually achieve 20+ MPG running down the freeway at 70-75mph with the cruise control on.

I'm the 45 year old "new car" virgin!

I've had brand new service vans, but that doesn't count, as they were company vehicles.

Well, I picked up the truck, but I didn't make it to the supply house to pick up my HG3.

This is my 2013 F-150, there are many like it, but this one is mine!
Well, sort of, it is actually Ford's finance companies F-150 for the next 60 months.

    Cool!

Get a good APR on the loan? Not trying to get personal, but I got 2% when I got my E250. It was one of Fords promotional rates. Plus my cousin is an engineer at Ford so i get a family discount. Just wondering if they offered you the same or better.

    Looks good.
