Hey everyone. My name is Al, I live in central Maine. I have my journeyman oil burner lic, but am not working in the field at present, (landed a cushy office job for a while designing Navy ships).
I heat my house with a coal stoker boiler, I have a Biasi oil boiler as back-up, with a mixture of radiant and baseboards, and have always cooled the house with one of those window a/c units.
I have been wondering for a while how well a chilled water system piped into my radiant and baseboards would work?
Would be any cheaper to run something like that vs those damn window units. We typically put the a/c unit by now and run it constant into oct.
