    Hmm Copeland Scroll Compressors

Can anyone tell me what is the diffrence between these compressors?

    ZR125KC-TFD-950 ZR125KC-TFD-250

    ZR81KC-TFD-950 ZR81KC-TFD-250

The diference is the 250 and the 950 at the end of the model number. I already know the zr125's are bigger than the zr81's. Just not sure what the 250 and 950 mean?

As I understand it: ANY Copeland residential Scroll with a '9' in that position of the model # is manufactured as a replacement compressor (not an OEM unit)... has to do with warranty tracking. AS to the internals... I do not think there is much difference... someone else might want to step in here if they know more than I do.

GA's basic rules of home heating and AC upgrades:
*Installation is more important than the brand of equipment
*The duct system keeps the house comfortable; the equipment only heats and cools (and dehumidifies)
*The value of comfort, over the long term; leave economic choices behind!

Agreed, the last digits tell them if it was sold to an OEM, distributer, etc.
