    Not that I'm aware of.

Usually, the wattage and voltage is stamped on the heater near one end.

    Found my issue
It wasn't on the name plate and thought it seemed low but I found there was a second heater stuffed in there
I'm gonna guess on a regular 110V reach in freezer they are about 1 A/Ft

I'll check a few and get back.

That's what I was thinking. If you knew that, a little ohms law and some math will tell you what you're after.

Typical tubular defrost heater elements are available in many different wattage intensities...ie, watts/inch...so it would be difficult to arrive at any reasonable rule-of-thumb figure.

If you check out the Refrigeration Hardware catalog pages for their tubular heaters, you'll see how they have wattages for various lengths at both 120V and 240V, as well as 1/4" and 5/16" diameters. (See pp.177-179):

You could try to plot these out and likely find they have a handful of stock tubes to make all of them.
